Performance of a t3'd fiesta & how hard
Does any 1 got any figures that they can post of there t3'd frst such as
0-60 1/4 mile and 0-100 please and how hard is this conversion.
I have looked on the main page at the guide but is there any real hard bits to this conversion.
Also i have a scorpian full s/s [ERRR] do i have to do to an escort rst down-pipe to get it to fit to the original exaust system.
Thank you all Beanyfrst aka Chris

the performance varies as to what boost you are runing, what state of tune the engine is in and a host of other factors!
no two cars (even if they are identical) will produce the same figures! there will be slight differences in both cars!
the hardest part i found was fitting the rad into a suitable possition and having the exhaust modded before i had the stainless and ML modded that for me!
with my mongoose system, a full ERST downpipe is used, this is then sleeved over a slightly shortened mongoose FRST center section and stainless steel wilded in place! the fit is perfect, with only the lower cross member needing a few washers fitting between it and the chasis to lower it a bit to prvent fouling of the exhaust.
oh and its better to have the water feed removed from the turbo, this keeps the coolant a little cooler!

havent got a clue bout the scorpian pipe mate as mines a mongoose, but mine only needed the ends cutting off both pipes and then welding together as the escort one is a bigger bore than the fiesta one!

modding a Magnex pipe to fit a ERST downpipe:
lengthen the downpipe with about 4" (i though it was 57mm) .. then slot it into the middle section of the magnex zorst..
no modding of the lower cross member needed
Moving the rad forward:
- modify the bonnet-lock-bar (use a longer bolt. bend the bar a bit.. and fix it about 1,5 inch forward.. .. then drill a hole thru the bar .. and thru the lower part of the rad (nog the coolant containing part of course) .. and fix the rad using a long bolt.. some big washers .. and some rubber rings (same as the top mounts) on either side of the rad.. and pull it towards the bar.
now you have about 1,5 to 2" play between the T3 actuator and the rad..
p.s. dont try to fit a standard PAce intercooler (-: it took me 1 day to fit it.. in stead of a straight swap ..

how hard.. hmmz.. if you have the right instructions and material..it isn't hard..
The hardest part to discribe will be the moving forward of the radiator and the fitting of the turbo -> intercooler hose
