I'm unsure about gloss black. Has any of you guys got a photo of a fiesta with black trim?

Re: Phase 1 ZS: HID Kits?
im sure theres a thread on zsoc where the guy has changed them a few times, had various colours, you're best off checking out the threads on there.
it does look good though and its a safe choice unless you wanna go for something different

Re: Phase 1 ZS: HID Kits?
they're already a dull grey/black colour, why would you both with satin black on them?

Re: Phase 1 ZS: HID Kits?
because they fade over time, satin black will revive the look of them and contrast perfectly with the blue

Just to confirm I'm right...
Headlight bulbs - H4
Front Fog Bulbs - H1
Number plate bulbs - ?
Suppose I can get the plate bulbs from halfords. There's some confusion with the seller on eBay. Trying to prove him right and get my bloody purchases right and not wrong again!

Next time I'm buying my bulbs from halfords, never buy online again.

TBF I've never had problems buying bulbs online, but then I've known up front precisely the type I was buying - I rarely trust these lookup tables

That's the first website I tried. I saw the same set of bulbs on site for £22, on eBay they were £12 so I thought I'd choose eBay

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
Snow!
Since the puma conversion idea has gone out the window I've been looking for the Phase 2 blacktop engine. Just want to know is it a straight fit? Any other requirements I have to know before buying one? I'm presuming its just a plug and play? Idea is to rebuild it, tart it up, maybe cam it.

If there's nothing wrong with the current engine don't waste your money on a new 1.6 mate there's next to no difference!

No it's not bolt in, custom mount is required

Nothing wrong with it. I'd just prefer the Phase 2 engine... Gives me a chance to cam

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
With regards to the focus engine, they go in no problem because it's just a standard sigma engine - same as what's in the ZS. (This is of course if they are phase two).. My mate killed his engine in his old ZS and used a focus one and it went in no problem.

You can do all that to a ph1. Waste of time changing it if there's nothing wrong with it

No difference at all apart from a few bits made out of plastic rather than metal. Cams available for both, same power output. Absolutely pointless replacing it like for like.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
looks if you want more power for it, go on Kents website, check out theyre Zetec s cams, phase 2's be great
and get a milltek exhaust system for it, you'd have a nice hike in power
mind tbh id have though going from a 54 pony 1.1 to a 100 horsey Zs be enough to keep you smiling for atleast a few months?!
ive had my 1.8 3 years and im still smiling!
