This will look awesome dropped on coilies.
I hope those wheels dont have stretched tyres, they are dangerous, they will fall off the rims and you will die

Don't start that, haha!
That's all I'm doing with the ZS, slamming it on the Borbet's, clean the body a bit. Get some new interior, some Recaro's maybe.
Keep it simple, none of this smoothing BS.

Hi mate. Rear shocks are the non fork type. So there the same design as the mk3 fiesta. Send me a pm if there suitable.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: Gaz Coilovers
Gaz coilovers bought today. Thanks to RS220bhp.
I will be fitting them tomorrow, that's if my mate don't let me down
Osram fog lights and sidelights. Gonna get the full Osram bulb kit.
Unfortunately my Yoko tyre for the Mondie alloys is unrepairable. So I still have a Borbet alloy still on the rear... Gonna get them all fitted in about a weeks time with full lows.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: Gaz Coilovers
Major fails as me and my mate could not get the top mount loose. I'm just gonna wait until I'm ready with everything in front of me. Get the tyres sorted for the Borbets, sort my windscreen. Then get the coilovers air gunned off, everything on my ZS is major tight, proper torqued on. Shame... No lows for a while guys. Hope to finish it in time for FITP.

Good but yet no so exciting news, got my fogs working and side lights fitted. Pain in the bum getting bulbs in compared to a Mk3, had to take the headlight out just to put a bulb in? Silly

FITP? Jesus man you don't hang around!! I'd be straight down the local tyre shop getting the top mounts slackened off with the air gun then spend an hour fitting the coilies!

I'll fit them when I can. I'll just go to a garage and tell them to loosen top mounts for me.

Is it just my ZS or is everything stiff? Doors are stiff, key barrels are getting tougher by the day. Even to fold the seat forward to let people in the back is a struggle.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: Wheel Issues
Hi guys,
I'm having issues fitting my Borbets to the ZS, and I'm not gonna fit the coilovers until I get the wheels sorted.
The alloys are the right fitment it's just when the wheels are on the studs are a tad too short, and the wheel nuts just about fit on. Even with the wheel nuts on I can't put the centre caps over the top because the nuts are too thick. Can I somehow get longer wheel studs? Shorter nuts to fit them on? I don't want my wheels falling off again, scary expirence.
Cheers.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: Wheel Issues
You can get longer studs yes, but shorter nuts I'm not too sure about. I presume you are using the standard ford wheel nuts?

Yes, using standard Ford ones. I'm just gonna have to leave the centre caps off then I guess.

Phase 1 ZS: Wheel Issues
They look alright, but how much room have you got to play with? Because if you can get away with standard open end ford ones I would use them.
You'll need at least 12 nuts too, if you are using 4 locking nuts too. Why they sell them in sets of 10 is beyond me lol.
The other option is to get a load of open end ford nuts from the scrappy free - if they let you have them, then use some man power and cut them down to size
