102k, hence the idea of change.
No point. As long as its been serviced as it should be fine, mine was over 110k and didnt even use oil. Get a decent exhaust and fit some ss4's

Yeah it has a full service history, and she is mint. Even the body work is tidy for its age and mileage.

I guess. I'm not gonna do all this smoothing b**locks with the body. Just gonna get her slammed on my Borbets, tidy it up a bit. Sort the engine.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
Stop worrying about the engine! They only break when they run out of oil.
Does it use loads of oil or something? If it does, try replacing the PCV valve first.

I worry too much, she's fine. Runs like a dream and doesn't use oil at all much.

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
There are differences in the head between ph1 & 2.
Something to do with the tappets, nothing to do with power or reliability though.
Also the bottom ends have differences.
I just can't remember what.
Straight swap though.
However, as said, don't bother!

Yeah, SS4's.
When it's mapped properly, I should be getting about 145 brake.

Milltek is raspy. I love it.
Engine is VERY throaty above 4.5k rpm.
Engine sounds crap at lower rpms as I need to adjust the tappets!

Re: Phase 1 ZS: P2 Blacktop Engine
Should make 150+ bhp easy. SS4's, 4-2-1 with ebay cat back system and an air filter can make 150bhp. My mate got 151bhp with them mods, that was on an engine with failing piston rings too.

Go f**k yourself.
It's a 140 kit, making just over 140.
Not that I've finalised any figures right now as I haven't got it running properly or tested just yet.
Keep your stupid comments to yourself.

I don't understand this? He's speculated as to what power figure he's making and getting slated?

Like you did? I seem to remember you speculating 140-150bhp from your 1.8 and it outperforming a lot of cars on the site until you went for your rolling road. Took a while for the printouts to appear here iirc.
I'm not trying to slate you here Jon, but the way you're writing your posts towards Rob and others makes you sound like a monumental bellend.

Jon actually said his target was 140, not it was 140. He got the power he estimated.
