does any one know how much these things cost? My dad thinks its the ribbon that might need replacing in my KEH-6800

basicaly when i slide the clip on fascia in, the tape plays, but when i push it up right it switches off. but now it doesnt work entirely.

My dad says they cost about £3-5? But on ebay its £20 +++ any ideas people??

A very old pioneer head unit of mine had a ribbon cable that linked the face plate, it split and all the lights wouldnt come on and then as time went on the front pannel just stopped working, I ordered a new one which cost £22 from pioneer, the one I had needed to be soldered on the plastic clip on the rear of the metal fold down pannel, then just fits into a slot on the inside of the head unit.
