Piper X or K&N???

for my 16v XR2I??? which is better in terms of sound?? performance??? or should i not bother with either??? any suggestions

i would say Piper X but thats just my preference for some reason

bought a pipercross for my formerly quiet mk 4 Si, now sounds like a cossie....very nice.

I'm gonna throw a spanner in the works and say K&N, after all they were the ones that created the first induction kit, so they know wot there doing, and well erm ive got one :D

jetex response (or JR) exactly the same constuction as K+N (better than piper-x imo) but loads cheaper and they provide good service.

i SAY k&n..

I wouldnt ever have a Piper X on a Turbo Car.. They have been known over time to let foam into the turbo, the turbo sucks a lot more than the n/a engine and over time the foam comes off the piper X and goes into and damages the turbo inside..
