Hi all was considering building a 2.1 zetec was woundering what pistons to use i know accrelite are pretty good but i did read some were that u can use vauxhall pistons if so which ones and r they any good ??

vauxhall calibra turbo ones can be used.

they are good to use, not sure what psi they will cope up to though!

IIRC THE CALIBRA TURBO ONES ARE BEST USED FOR LOW COMP!

As said Calibra turbo pistons are fine, 7.4:1 CR. :)

Too low for a ZVH though, for that I can supply some.

speak to ian howel at fiesta frenze he does the pistons for the 2.1zvh.

So icould get some vaux 2.0 16v turbo and they will go straight on the zetech rods (my friend works for vaux that means cheap parts)
