Postby shaunyb on Sat Oct 14, 2006 7:43 pm

hi iv just brought a pro alloy front mount intercooler for my frst and was wondering which rad and fans were best to fit behind it as i understand im going to encounter some cooling problems due to the intercooler restricting airflow?i have heard you can fit an xr2 rad cause its bigger due to not having the inter cooler on the end is this true? and will i have problems getting my cooler pipes round the side? i have just put a stage3 t3 on it so i will also have to move the rad forward so im tight for space. any1 who can shed any light on this will be a big help as this is the only thing stopping me burnin sum rubber again!!! :D

There can be with bigger front mounts like the GRS and Pro Alloy coolers when they cover up so much of the frontal area though.

The XR2i (not XR2, just in case you were getting confused) does leave space for boost hoses/pipes I believe, but only if the cooler's positioning is perfect. "andyhardy" used an XR2i radiator in his, along with the Pro Alloy FMIC.
