Porting a sub box

Wel from last time i was talking about my subs some of you said it would be better if it was ported. so just wondering how and can i just port a double 12" sub box. if it can be done any advice?

you could port it and it would be easy, but i personally wouldnt.

if you bought the box and sub together, then most probally the box is built to work at its best with the sub so porting it will probally ruin the quality.

Wrong.

Its highly likely your subs are in a universal box that is mass produced and then distributed too all the various i.c.e dealers. So really the sub's wont be performing as good as they could be in the first place.

Your better of starting a new one from scratch.

no point mate as shannon said..it will be worse than what u currently have...

start afresh and get a proper box made...oh and have u seen the size of a ported box for 2 12's to play LOUD...and i mean VERY VERY LOUD?

that box is for 2 12's...my 15s were just placed on top for measuring up ;)

1: the box was baught at the same time as the subs but there not made for eachther
2: I value what i have left of my boot space so ^^^^^^^ is out of the question
3: To Drill Or Not To Drill ?
