to get the best out of a power boost valve you need to get the engine fuelling etc setup up on a rolling road.

Boost valve first and then setup. The gains will depend on ur spec, condition of engine etc.

as its been said above.. the fuel can be regulated via the screwy thingy...

thus the boost valve would be pointless... just get it set up on a RR and adjust the thingy :)

Nope! A company that grass track cars who are also a K&N official dealer for East Yorkshire did the test b4 and after on a rolling road. The only other mods being a s/s back box and the 57I kit........

The garage is called KP Motorsports and they're well known in their circles... :Q

Would one of these help me. Mine i thinks running lean. Done it ever since I put on the induction kit. When the engine is cold and just started it run real quick. Faster than it ever did standard but when it warms up its like it isn't getting enough fuel. It seems to lose acceleration and response. Been trying to sort this for ages.

Is ther anyway to increase fueling without an FSE valve or chip on a 1.6 Si. Don't wanna have to spend loads of money to just inject a little more fuel in!

no u got a fuel pressure regulator that controls the flow to the injectors, the 1.6 and 1.8 zetec use the same part although do differ through mondy and fiesta/escort, the 2L mondy one is different all together and 'may' < MAY increase the fuel,

Not sure if it the answer as such, but my car ran a lot more hesitantly just after fitting the K&N 57I as the engine was getting a lot more air into it...

The power boost valve dramatically improved the jerk & hesitance problems immediately......

+ when it was chipped, the fueling was set up nice & sweetly.... :bonkers:
