Power boost valves?

Had the kit since last May. Been doing it since. It is so much faster when cold. Was frosty this moring, got in, started up, got to first junction and pulled away, Pulled away and accelerated fiercly. Did the same for the next few junctions but then started to be more hesitant..
Another thing, anyone else with an Si find it hard to spin the wheels? My 1.1 could do it pi!ss easy, really sharp bite on the clutch.
In my Si if u get some revs up and quickly lift the clutch it slowly bites instead of spinning the wheels.

Sounds like your clutch is going.
By the way, reving the engine hard when it is still cold will serious reduce the life of it. The oil is not warm until several miles after the water and therefore temperature gauge has reached normal.
The power boost valve IS a fuel pressure regulator. If your car is running lean it should not be used as the solution although it will help slightly. You need to adjust the fueling to stop it running lean rather than just increasing the pressure.
I have an FSE one on my car for only 2 reasons. 1)It is a little easier to adjust than than the standard one for fine tuning on my ZVH and 2)it has an adpator so that it can be located elsewhere in the engine bay instead of on the end of the fuel rail.

Na m8. You must think I'm the sort that just always rants my car down the road. Beleive me I saved a lot for this car and bought it with 24,000 miles on it. Didn't spend all that to just reck it.
I mean that it moves up throught the revs a lot faster when cold and is very responsive compared to when warm.

If you haven't had it on rolling road - get it to one. Spending the money on a decent rr session will identify why you are having the problem and hopefully rectify it as well. It may just be getting a better cold air feed to the induction air filter. It is money well spent because if it is running lean it isn't doing it any good.
