pte is what the 1.4 cvh was called. if you want power steering on an rs turbo you will have to get all the gubbins off either an xr2i, si, or anything else that had a cvh and power steering. im unsure if the 1.6 pump is the same as the 1.4 but thats something youll have to find out

1.4 si parts are what you need, rack, hoses, other bits n bobs, the front mount is what your after and i belive these would only have been fitted to the 1.4 si, maybe some cvh ghias if there was any?
but its been done, jay on here and ford-force has done it.
but, im a jay, hes a jay, and theres loads of other jays..
im sure hell be along to contribute

Surely all you would need is the pump and the mount, the rack and piping ect can come from any pas fiesta can't it?
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Parts from the 1.4 Si can be used.
You need to think whether this is a good idea or not as the PAS really does deaden the feel and feedback from the car and the FRST steering isn't exactly heavy.
The PAS will also sap power from the car (up to 15bhp) as the pump needs powering

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

if your running a T2 forget it, there isnt room for the pump, there is if you run a T3 though.
