just brought a cd player which claimed to have a pre out but it has none , whats best thing 2 do :twisted: are the audio cable to rcas convertors any good , or even just as good as a preout in the back of the head unit?

Take it back and get a refund.

not as good but do do the job...

what headunit is it that you have bought? and was it sold to you on the basis that it did have RCAs? if so then get a refund!

let me me know if you are after another stereo and ill do you one at a good price!

In regards to the adapaters, yes they do do the job, however if the above it true, then i would get a refund and get another headunit with a pre out

hi cheers i had another look at it and theres a funny looking output which isnt like a pre out so i presumed it wasnt a pre out , i tried a RCA in it and it seems to fit fine ? so im guessing thats the RCA , so fingers crossed.
