What in your humble opinion are some of the best brake pads, aside from the normal EBC green stuff...

GreenStuff are absolute pants. There uis a serious issue with the pad compound and material that seems to shaft brake discs.

Mintex 1144 (or 55 depending on use) or Ferrodo DS2000's would be my choice

On my RS1800 i use cheap motor factor pads without any problems.

If im doing a trackday i put Mintex 1166's in but i wouldnt put these in a road car if you want to stop in a hurry :lol:

1166's on a road car, now that could be intresting. They would be to stopping what coarse sand is to vaginal lubrication

i always use mintex pads and havent got a bad thing to say about them

as said with the green stuff, within 1000 miles they warped my new discs, because of the compound they bite fairly well but cause hotspots leading to warping.

Because I too am extreme.

They work very well with my motorfact0r discs.

Mintex m1155's for the road. have m1177's in the rally car but not reccomended for the road!!! As for ebc s**t i wouldnt touch them if they were the last pads on earth god the storys that are out there about them pads!!!!
