does a turbo head fit the xr2i 1.6 8v ? :-?

Yes the heads are identical, as is the cam and inlet. Only difference is the turbo's cam pulley runs more retard

so will a recon head be better for my 2i its from a turbo an he wants £50 think it a good price? will it make the car run better? :lol: sorry if i bombardin you with Qs Thanks for the help, phil

£50 for a second hand head doesn't sound too bad. Is there any paperwork for it being reconditioned or has the seller just cleaned it up a bit. I've seen heads stuck through a dishwasher before now to get them clean looking

Shouldn't have thought so as the temps aren't really high enough. Spose the cleaning agents might not be too good for it :-?
