Project - Big Cat! **SURPRISE REVEALED**
Re: Project - Big Cat! **SURPRISE REVEALED**
Wayne didn't have to tell me where to park at fitp, but I was still in a good place!!
Anyways, I love the orange!! Good choice tbh!! Also, the mhw's are compulsory with the colour I think. Oh and if its not st colour, I'd prefer that, because it would even stand out next to an st (if that makes sense??)

Very nice colour. Is that the proper 3 stage pearl st orange? Or is there only a slight pearl and metallic in the colour itself?

I'm undecided on whether it would look better with the bump strips

Re: Project - Big Cat! **SURPRISE REVEALED**
if it is the proper 3 stage pearl paint then I hope you go back to the same bodyshop and painters as trying to get a spot on match on that is very hard if you use someone else because if something happens, touch wood it doesn't but if, then it may or may not match if you use someone else. I got a proper three stage pearlescent paint on my Honda and its just had a new door replaced and the paint isn't spot on at all so its back in again!

Re: Project - Big Cat! **SURPRISE REVEALED**
thing is johny there is alot of different varients of the electric orange colour and it all depends on how many undercoats you decide to put on that makes it darker or lighter.so it is still the electric orange but probably had more base coats as its a three stage pearl and the last coat is just a pearl stage.
i can put one under coat on then the pearl and it will be light,i can apply 4 coats then the pearl and it will be darker, still the same colour tho just a different shade!
best thing to do is ring them up and ask how many base/under coats they used before applying the pearl so if you do need paint again you can use any bodyshop and you will be able to tell them how many coats to apply before the pearl.
love the car in tis colour, black and orange always goes together well.

Re: Project - Big Cat! **SURPRISE REVEALED**
That's a really good finish. There's an orange ZS round my way with a similar kit that's not fitted right and a poor paint job and it makes the whole car look s**t.
It just goes to show how much difference a good bodyshop makes. Looks really well!
Personally i'm not a fan of the kit but you cant please everyone
