Looks good Jess,
you need to get some Auto Glym leather care cream on the seats though,
It will soften the leather and make it less likely that the leather will crack.

Carbonboy67 :you need to get some Auto Glym leather care cream on the seats though,
The turtle wax stuff works very well too, used it on the coupe's seats and it's brought the leather up a treat (and removed an UNBELIEVABLE amount of grime from them).

love the interior jess, looks very sutble, prefer the speakers tucked away also, bit in ya face and a Bic™ if your trousers or shoes catch on them
really coming together, shame about the front lights though imo, never have liked them
exhaust sound good? is it just the box or catback?

HCS PIMP, I'm Keeping My Eye On 1 On Ebay At The Moment But I Will Bare You In Mind...
Thanks JonyB, Yeh Them Speakers Sticking Out Really Did Get Annoying And Were Getting Kicked, They Sound So Much Better Behind The Door Cards Now Tho, My Headlights?, Well Thats Just Your Opinion I Spose I Like To Be Different, My Exhaust Is Very Quiet... For Now, Like I Said In One Of My Other Posts It May Be Decated And Will Be Having A Four Branch Mannifold Put On Soon So There Will Be Noise!

Re: My First Car, New Interior! (02/01/12)
From personal experience, I wouldn't use powerflow for an exhaust that's going to be used on a daily driver. Have one on the Golf and... well, can't wait to get rid of it tbh. Have a turbo-back stainless system on the coupe that's made by scorpion, vaguely scoobylike exhaust note (think : lumpy!) owing to the uneven length exhaust manifold, but it's perfectly refined when cruising and loud enough on full chat to make me feel like a big kid again. Milltek have a great rep in VW circles and my dad had a system from exhaustsuk.com (when it was just called Ascar) and the quality of fit and finish, as well as the loudness and note was perfectly good (especially when you consider it cost exactly the same money as the powerflow system).
Also, don't forget that you can get high throughput catalytic converters if you want to remain legal or have issues getting through the MOT.
For those who are interested, powerflow apparently don't use baffled silencers, this can cause a very raspy engine note particularly if there's a lot of valvetrain echo coming down the pipe (the Digifant PB engine is very noisy in that respect). Fine for track use, but I couldn't recommend one to anyone who values their hearing or does much in the way of motorway miles.

Whats with all the powerflow abuse I used to love mine on my mk2 golf gti. Loud true but very nice sounding exhaust in my opinion with plenty of snap crackle and pop

Re: My First Car! (UPDATED)
Looks good loving the orange touches! Doing the steering wheel with orange parts would look great!! also on the exhaust note my mate has a ZS with a full miltek and I think it sounds f'in awfull it's far too loud raspier than a civic and doesn't go, I can agree with andy macs comment on the scorpion system my RS has a 2.5" s/s straight through with just a back box, it does sound slightly like a scoob yes wierd , but when your driving normally and for motorway journey you can just about hear it and then when you give it beans it puts a very large grin on my face and who ever else is about at the time. Couldn't recommend scorpion enough tbh, but it all depends what you want it to sound like.
Ps Johny you was asking for that^^ jumping to the conclusion that she wouldn't understand
