Ahh right! I wondered if you were the buyer of my my loom/ECU. I don't know anything about the ST management system. What is the benefit to using it? Are you running 2 O2 sensors etc then?

The benefits of using is that if you brother works in engine callibration it becomes a fully mapable ECU :lol: so has been set to use only one HEGO. Lots more info to come once its all run in :)

I'm using an ashley 4-2-1 manifold due to the fact i'm thinking of going turbo so didnt wanna layout for a stainless one :)

It was a bit of a fiddle. Took the rad fan off and lost a few knuckles but other than that great as i got it for £90 brand new (I love ebay)

Just a bit of an update needed to change my clutch but at the same time though why not fit all the bits I have bought for the car so out comes the engine and box and every thing else for a weekend to do list:

mk5 Dash and Heater
Clutch
Cam Belt and Water Pump
Power Steering
Mk3 Modeo Clocks (maybe see if the fit the dash first)

Would also like to do the Zetes S rear beam and Escort master cylinder but have yet to purchase.

If any one wants pics and details of any of the jobs let me know and I will post some of the many pics I've taken to remind me how it goes back :lol:

Right got the dash in and most the wiring done also did a small guide to powersteering for a friend so thought i would share.

Thanks just a quick update the car is now going back together after the fitting of power steering, clutch, water pump and cam belt along with the mk5 dash and hope fully w the mk3 mondeo cluster which should be here tommorow hope the ford cad dimensions are right and i can make it fit!!

lol tha dash is actually on its side out of the car when the pic was taken so amazing it was going 30mph without the car :lol:

Not that hard but I'm running a blackoak ECU i.e. mondoe mk 3 so they were designed 2 work 2 gether only porb is the fuel guage is backwards :(

Thanks for the comments will have to get up some good pics soon 2 show all the functions of the mondeo cluster (mpg, miles to empty, outside temp etc) only thing to sort mow is the fuel sender as it reads backwards.

They are just floating ATM but they do sit central just got to fabricate 2 brackets 2 hold them in position.


The car is running the mondeo blackoak ecu so is straight forward.
