Id be in contact with him mate for a refund and if he doesnt cough up then get onto paypal if you used them. They will pass the mot if the adjusters dont work but if there leaking they will fail and also if the spring isnt tight in the platform and cup when the wheels are off the ground that will also fail

As for the bearing, the guy is talking crap it deff sits under the cup like the 2nd and 3rd pics

ok ill have to get him to change them round, ive asked the bloke for a refund but i aint heard back from him yet. what do paypal do? do they definantly get your money back?

also if i hold on to the tops of the rear shocks, the piston drops down so the spring in loose so i spose that would be an mot failure?

cheers for the help

What do you mean? When you try to compress the shock it just pushes in really easily? Is there and resistance when you try and do this?

Paypal may be able to get your money back or part of it if the goods are not as described.

i took the spring off and i can push the shock down with no resistance, then i have to pull it back out, seems theres no pressure in them.

i just want my money back now as i struggled to get the money together for them in the 1st place so now im skint.

if i dont hear back from him soon ill go straight to paypal

Sounds like there f**cked mate but they will be soft if the set to the softest setting but there should still be a little resistance in them even if there set to soft and they should pop back up on there own.

Id contact them anyway as it takes a few days to sort out a dispute anyway

unfortunately it was a member on here i got them from, i wont name him untill he starts refusing a refund, i will spill the beans so noone else gets screwed over tho. it was the fact he has lied about the condition that gets me

depending how you have the springs set will depends if the piston has enough moment to allow the spring to become loose.
its a shame your having problems mate :(

the windy gun should of taken the nut off, the force and speed of it spinning should be enough to undo the nut from the piston due to resistance within the shock, did he get the nut off ok?

yep it is a shame, hopefully i can sort some new suspension before fitp

yeh the bloke in the garage had a bit of trouble getting the nut off but it came off eventually.

i think ill go back to square 1 with a new gmax kit.

hopefully it'll all be sorted with no more problems

Id be tempted to name and shame mate..and tell a staff member on here aswell..not that it gets your money back but it may stop him selling faulty goods through here again...spend the little extra and get them refurbed..at least then they are usable.
