took the car back to the bodyshop, and after 1001 escuses they have said for me to take it back tommorrow

i cleaned all the dust off the car yesterday and couldnt believe how bad it actually was. my wings were in better nick before they went in :x

took some photos but it dont look as bad

orange peel and chips they couldnt be bothered to fill
Image

dull paint, this is just one of the dull spots, there are many
Image

one of the white blotch marks that are dotted all over the bonnet
Image

you can see some of the paint runs in the wings in these photos
Image
Image

overspray on the wings
Image

matt black under the bonnet when i specifically said ash black
Image

theres loads wrong with it,
got paint on my headlights aswell,
took off and lost the rubber the bonnet sits on both sides.
overspray onto the doors
crack in the bumper.

so hopefully they will be sorting it all out tommorrow, i want my wings resprayed i dont care what they say.

cheers

this is one of the best reps ive seen . the chips you see in the paint is where silicone has reacted with the paint making the sinky blotchy marks as for the orange peel it looks just looks like it needs flatting and buffing which they probarbly havent bothred too doo . but if you paid good money you should expect a good job :bonkers:

:bonkers: Still on a bad run hey fella...feel 4u man but it will change hang in there
Bonnets a given needs metaling an doin again from scratch end off its s**t!!,,would suggest to them(if they do know anything at all  )wet flatting the overspray as a start, abralon pads wet 2000 then 4000 on the orbie sander..then cut an then polish might sort that out, whole car should be done as a matter of course  ,most of it is jus pure lazyness on there part,,an s**t housekeeping an prep,,Speed over substance again  ,but can be sorted relitively easily(if there decent blokes :Q )and at there expense!!

if i was you mate, if yuo still aint happy with it, contact trading standards and tell them they have refused to sort it after you have been paid, or contact yout legal depatment on your car/home insurance and see if they can be of any help.

i feared they would say as much, im a little surprised they even took it back for the second time, but i bet ya any money they didnt do much to it apart from compound the fcuk out of it to make it look better :(

i weould persue trying to get ya money back, or at least half of it back, if trading standards go with you, you might find you get something back if theres a threat of further action, but it does depend on other things, but it dont take much to kake a call, there prob off load you to the office of fair trading or CAB, but stick with it
