Totally disagree there. That looks the funlumps exactly how it is, nice touch with the rim tape  I know I said I wasnt feeling it but now they are on the car im lovin it. Really do look like ATS cups lol but I think you should leave them on, forget the turbo wheels :aviator: :aviator: :aviator:

thanks for the positive comments :D

michael! - it doesnt get used alot , this year is the most ive used it since i got it. why do you ask???

RSGeorge- i think they look good aswell,i actually painted the rim instead of tape, i got an 80 odd pence pot of green paint called jade green from b&q hoping it would be a close enough match to the strips, luckily its nearly exactly the same colour :D i just dont like them being 13s i wish i had 14s like them.

some of you may know ive been having some idling issues with this. i was advised to get a new idle motor so i got a brand new ford motor for peanuts on ebay stuck it on but it then wouldnt idle at all. then i was told i had to adjust the tps, so i tried that and still no luck. got my grumpy mechanic round to see what he thinks, charged me £20 for doing nothing so i decided to just get another tps and try that.

sent rseddie a pm asking if he knew anyone who had one knocking about and the next day he had one waiting for me :D couldnt find a more helpfull bloke :Q

so went and picked it up, stuck it on today and it ticks over perfect now :D

The tps is a throttle position sensor and it is located on the inlet

yes yours should have one although the one in my 1989 mk3 1.1 is different to the one in this

its black with writing on with a green cable cover leading to a 3 pin plug on the right side of the carb under the air box
