ive seen a red one, best description i can give them is theyre cresent shaped, have a metal bracket and are bolted the the opposite side of the throttle linkage, they have a sliding bar attached thats connected to your throttle, and a triangular multi connector on it

Change the throttle cable, also check your vac pipe that goes from your inlet to the servo when I launch my car hard it pops out and once you let off the throttle it just keeps revving untill the limiter or I turn it off first

heres a link with a photo from when i was asking

post1892696/?hilit=throttle position sensor#p1892696

the red thing is the tps and you can just see behind it the plunger of the idle control motor, the tps is bolted to the same bracket as the idle motor which is like a cylinder with wires coming out of the top of it to a plug.

they are located on the right side of the carb under the airbox as you look into the bay, the tps also comes in black :D

the TPS is simply a potentiometer and they breakdown inside, giving false readings
