Project Scort, V6 twin turbo. 'Rollin, Rollin' 30-12-07!!
There is one in each piece of the floor mate. They are usually fitted with plastic bungs, and then the sound deadening pad is layed over the top. Usually you would not notice them.
I removed them while I was removing the sound deadening pad. Hopefully ford still sell them! If not I have a 60mm Nylon bar ready to be turned down to make some!

Heeman you Ghey!
Thanks guys!
Well, finally a milestone in the Scort project!
She's on wheels, and rolling. I brought her home earlier today.
And a couple from underneath, showing how the axle is mounted, and also the front suspension setup:
Although I'm not even half way through the project, I feel like it's a massive step in the right direction!
I still have some bits to do, Piece of the rear floor on the drivers side has been jacked up at sometime in the past, so I want to replace that, and the rear wheel well has pretty much got to go I think. I was looking at it earlier, initially I was just going to make a fuel tank the same size as the wheel well, which would be fine. However, I want twin tailpipes, the offset of the spare wheel well would make fitting a silencer at the rear a complete pain in the ass! So I think its going to have to go.
I also think I will definately get away with S1 skirts and oversills! So I have some nice Gartrac G4 wings and skirts I will need to sell, Ho hum!
Thanks to all the guys, for batting ideas round. To think initially the conversion was a ZT, then V6 FWD, now look at it! lmfao! Milestone!
Thanks guys.

SO good to see it'll sit on its wheels with most of the big stuff mounted If you used the Gartrac arches it was going to look fat and functional, without them..well, purist passion, what more can you say? This way, it's "just" an ERST with a V6TT and twin pipes, definitely not a bad thing at all Enjoying the view from the back down the transmission tunnel, and MAN I love that sump!! Quality pickup on it!

Congratulations This is truely a momentous occasion!
I think it's a good choice going with the S1 arches as it will make the car much more subtle, which is what I like..personal taste but I prefer a Wolf in Sheep's clothing!

Asad, Thanks mate!
Heeman, Definately mate, I'm sooo pleased too, definately given me some inspiration for the rest of the car. I like that sump too! Shame i had to mod the S1 roll bar slightly as it fouled the sump. The RS1600i one had plenty of room to play with!
Mike, Thanks mate!
Chris-Fiesta, Bay not changed much for a few months mate. Check back a few pages and have a ganders.
Excursion, Thanks man! I'm definately going with the S1 arches now mate, for that very reason.
FezzR, Thanks man! No unfortunatley not. I'm thinking lancia integralle bonnet bulge. Would have to sacrafice one though, as I'm pretty sure you can't get them any more. Or maybe one from a pulsar.
Xrsi, Thanks mate! Will love showing it off at the shows!
~joeboifiesta~, Indeed it will mate! See above! Thanks mate!
AndyHardy, My dog will eat any make of sausages, she's really not that fussed. The little bugger is preggers too now. Looks like I will have some new members of the family under my ever increasing umbrella!
Shinx, I Certainly have mate! All fully adjustable though, literally bolted it all together! Thanks mate! No problem at all mate, shall I give you a quote?!
Excursion & Sphinx, Nutters!
IanFRST, Thanks man!
AdamB, Thanks for your respect sir!
XRMike, Thanks mate!
AllinKing, THanks mate! Damn that heeman!
Pez, Thanks mate, I agree with the arches, hopefully it will look good. Typically I can't find any photos of an S2 running S1 Arches!!
Cheers Guys!

Dude - that's awesome. Truly awesome. I still can't get my head round seeing a Mk4 Escort with a V6 in it. I just keep looking back at it, going 'No. That's not right. That's just not right!' But it is, and it works, and it looks utterly brilliant. Top notch stuff; can't wait to see it on the road!
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

would have to agree with fezzR (for once ) ....
please please dont get a pulsar vent, it will ruin the look of the whole car!
a subtle bulge will be more than pleasing on the eye and retain fnctionality needed without looking chavtastic, how large does the bulge need to extend above the level of the bonnet out of interest?
