Project Scort, V6 twin turbo. 'Rollin, Rollin' 30-12-07!!
Pez :Capri :Dude - that's awesome. Truly awesome. I still can't get my head round seeing a Mk4 Escort with a V6 in it. I just keep looking back at it, going 'No. That's not right. That's just not right!' But it is, and it works, and it looks utterly brilliant. Top notch stuff; can't wait to see it on the road!
The Gartrac G6 Escorts featured a V6 Cologne engine, Mr Capri
Well I never knew that - but it still doesn't alter the fact that I can't get my head round seeing a V6 in a Mk4 Escort!
My name is Alex. I used to have a Capri. I don't anymore. But I'm still called Capri.

Capri, Thanks man! As Pez says, some of the gartracs are fitted with the 2.8 V6. Thanks though mate!
FezzR, Think your right actually! I was just trying to think of a bonnet with a bulge in it! Now I look at a photograph of one, it looks pretty hideous!!
xrsi, Not measured it up yet mate, going to have to be a couple of inches at least though. A bulge is possible. Maybe if I just slam the bonnet hard enough!
Rodge, Thanks man! Long time no speak, hows yours coming along?
Brycey, Amazing! Those photoshop skills o yours are top notch! Love it! Thanks mate!
black2, Thanks mate, I can't wait to get it out and about again either! Roll on FITP 07.
Pez, You knows it!
Richard_NuttyFiesta, Thanks mate!

reason i askd is i know for dfo that derv 205's have a vry subtle bulge in the bonnet that the petrol ons do not have, this is prob going to b around the right sort of size that you may be looking for or could use to get a basis for a slightly larger one.

Unfortunately mate I lost my job just after christmas and had to give up the unit i was working in, which meant having to let the shell go
On the plus side, i've got a better job now and managed to regain the unit back and still have all the parts left over to start again (phase 2?!)
Sorry for the hi-jack
Back on topic....

I think you guys on here ( excursion, scort etc ) should all get together and see what you could come up with. Your individual projects are just astounding
Whats the betting that in the end the Ka will be V8, quad turbo, rear engined, 4 wheel driven beast !! and god knows what the escort will end up as
seriously, if i was wearing a hat, it would be taken off to you guys

Mike, I'm missing getting on with the damn thing mate. I'm seriously missing RWD, had to buy myself a little toy just recently to get my fix! The Ka is rolling, and I should be getting on with that within the next couple of months, again pending a house move! Thanks for the support mate.
Chris, It's rolling mate, engines in, box in. I'm up to having to widen the OE tunnel for the propshaft. Hopefully I will get some spare time over the Christmas period to complete said Ka!
Joe, Thanks mate. Me too, I went in my garage to get some cable from the back, looking at my car thinking to myself... I really want to give you a good hounding!

Cracking project! Yet another I have not kept up with though.
Those that can, do; and those that can't, talk about it.

Ollybee, Thanks mate!
Wakeboardtom, Cheers mate, I've always loved the look of the front end on an ERST. Only real trouble with the car is its the wrong wheel drive from the factory!
Krsi, Me neither! Thanks mate!
Gmc, Had a recent house move mate again holding things back. On the bright side however I have a nice sensible sized place where it's now stored, to work on it. Literally a few metres from my front door, which is great! No rush though!

Very true, Ford would have made a mint if all KA's came standard Turbo's on Cossie rims

This keeps getting dragged up from the past!
Well there are some fairly significant changes if I'm honest. I've decided to do a fair bit more work on the suspension side of things. It's going to involve alot more work, but i will definately be worth it.
Watch this space!
