Are you referring to my fez??!

There is nothing wrong with it

I've got BB2 Zorst, RS front and rear bibs, grey tint side repeaters, Escort SI wheels, Lowered on Gmax 35mm, Clear front repeaters, full Ghia wiring loom, central locking, electric windows, Remote boot popper, and its a MK3.5.

Think his post is referring to the guys car mate, not yours.

Not my cup of tea as I prefer things with the "less is more" approach. DTM mirrors will look better, bump strips could do with removing, take off the rear ford badge, mk4 wiper and maybe some Si bumpers with RS2000 skirts and it'll look quite good.

If you're like me, you'll end up changing your mind about everything you've done and change it all back, lol.

Ahh ok. :D

I agree with ya m8.

Bump strips definitely need removing.
Completely Debadge
Mk4 or 5 Rear wiper or even a Ka one
RS bumpers, and Skirts will look pretty sweet.

i think everyone went through the "lets paint random parts wacky colours phase" but hey its his car and if he likes it who are we to slate him for it ,its not personally to my taste as i am a xrbumpermk3.5mirrorman (but i hate mondeo and escort gti wheels)no offence to any of you that have them :) i personally love mk6 rs2ooo wheels but i think once this is dropped 60mm yhis will look good ,add some si seats and bumpers and a set of rs 2000 side skirts and this will look really good.

Mirrors have already gone, i changed them for dtm's which i have to admit look a lot better. I also have clear side repeaters and sub n amp in the boot (pics in the next couple of days). And you will all be pleased to hear that some of the sprayed bits will be going!!!

:), dont feel 'forced' to change it all, but before you do a future modification just sit back and have a think, the money you spent on rattle cans could have gone towards somthing like si seats prehaps, which are worth while upgrades,or even some lowering springs. :)
I really like the wheels, nice choice. Anyway mate its your car  :)

I like the clear oval indicators... thats about it...

You should of got some 2nd hand ford wheels or sumthin, the ones you have got are so rubbish lad, could of got some nice mondy rims of sumthin, and dont go all maxpower and say you wanted to be diff, as for the blue bits inside... it must make u feel sick drivin that down the road...

As i say with every1 who does this to their car, you'll learn 1 day,

i like the wheels he has, i prefer them to the mondy 5 spokes, everyone has them! boring as you like, and for the less is more approach, maybe on an original rs, but not on this, i reckon you should but a nice aftermarket bodykit on it, not a ford one, bring it all together:)

I just got some smoled repeaters for mine. They make the world of difference don't they?, orange just looked tug on my dark paintwork.

Did you put the sub and amp in yourself. Looks a neat job. Well done for NOT goin along the modeo wheel route, way too many cars on them imo, although they do look good, don't get me wrong.

Anyone know what skirts that 5dr AndyRS1800 posted has? they look spot on.

Mirrors are one thing I never understand changing, call me old fashioned by I want to be able to adjust my mirrors from the comfort of my car rather than have to stick my hand out of the window everytime I'm reversing in a tight spot.

Likewise with these new angel eye/projector style headlamps. Why pay £150 to replace prefectly good headlamps and lose a feature of the car people will use ie: electric load adjusters.

Dont understand spending money to remove functionality.

Keep plugging away at it anyway, as long as you like driving it, and it makes you happy, its all good. Im glad to see people still have actual entheusiasm for their cars regardless of how they look to others.

ermm... yeah mate, that is what i mean , the "max power" look, thats the look i like and the look i think this lad is aiming for mate, and obviously you dont as everytime someone puts a car up like this you always mention "max power" "max power!"i have noticed it several times. i know lets all stick to henry fords bare hand creations, nothing but for rs this and rs that, that would make things really interesting  i personally prefer aftermarket bodykits to ford ones, as do other people on here, just because you dont agree mate doesnt mate others are wrong

give the guy a chance, he may not want to turn his 1.1 fiesta into a xr2i or turbo lookalike, maybe he wants to do something different :)

Small Update!

I have just bought a rear si bumper off ebay (gonna get the front in a week or so). It may need spraying to the colour of my car but it may be the same colour i don't know, it looks like a similar colour. I paid.........16 pounds for it , plus 15 pounds postage. Which i think is a bargain!

Anyway here it is:

I still think you should lower it and make it look just like the photoshop in the your sig! I kind of like that look, even with standard black plastic bumpers! but no doubt an Si bumper will look nice.
