nearly every part on this car ISNT a direct fit i drilled and tapped the head to accept it as you can see the housing has had a bit of work too,the pipe that normally comes out the front and goes to the heater has now been modded to be a water feed for the turbo...

cheers jay,was told to use a 1.4 housing and a seperate swirl pot as they were deemed to be better.... did look but couldnt find one at the time...wasnt told they were a direct fit though..

Wow another project thread I missed!
This really does look awesome, some things I may need to look into for mine when I come to re-do the shell over winter. I'll keep an eye on this thread, great to see this again after seeing it when it was Shauns (think it was at some show in 2007 or something).
I like the stripes, I think they suit it. Must be a marmite thing seeing as it's about 50:50 Lovers:Haters.

well the rac were adiment the fuel pump in the engine bay had died but its been sorted and and was the fuel cut off switch.it didnt cut out it burnt out apparently ........ and apparently just been told they changed the in-tank pump as well £400
