yes another one..the one in the car is using standard rods and 'if' they become a problem then the new engine car replace it.. trying not to get too carried away with another engine yet as i still dont have a working car to put it in

car looks lovely, how does it drive with the 8 inch wide wheels
how does it feel in comparison to the RS2000, must feel pokier with the turbo engine

£800 for the pedal box....ouch
Only around 10 weeks to Santa Pod mate
The question is, do you really want to drive it when it's done ?, I'd be frightened of getting it dirty tbh

probably will but the trouble i have with this car is trying to not make look like luca's..his reservoirs are there as well ... and trying to keep the bay as clean and empty as possible....will see where it fits

Re: project:UFO
I have seen a few mounted there in the past on various cars, think it works well and looks smart too. As you say, have a look round the 'bay and see what's what in terms of room

Pedal box is epic. Something I wouldn't want to put my feet on though I guess you'll have a nice pair of Sparco's on when driving.

Re: project:UFO
no major update, fitted the fluid reservoir, set it in a sheet of carbon and bolted it in where the heater would go,couldnt find anywhere better to put it
loads more parts have turned, trouble is there replacing parts ive already fitted to the car happy days
trial fitted the pedal box and it looks like the drivers seat needs to go back loads to give more leg room trouble is the seat is very close to the cage so will need some thought

That's gonna be a right ball-ache mate as you'll have to alter how the seat bolts to the floor bars,
plus your arms might not reach the wheel if the seat goes back to far
Can you not get a different pedal box that would sit in a similar position to the original pedals ?

well its either weld more bars in for the seat to bolt to or have a section made up to square the floor up where the master cylinders fit...tempted by the latter.. as for the steering wheel as i now have the quick release boss fitted it 50mm closer..the only problem i can see with moving the seat back would be changing gear next time im down there ill look in to cutting a section out the floor and having a section made..depends what under there
