Re: project:UFO
bit of a update, finally after 7 weeks of waiting AP racing have finally made my rebuild kits for my master cylinders...
so i have built up the cylinders and fitted it all..
also in the last pic the bell crank i made so that the forward motion of the pedal with pull a cable, tilton do make on but at £133 i thought i could do as good and it cost me £13
also after lots of waiting the two 45 degree fuel resistent bend arrived for the fuel filler..

Re: project:UFO
yet more carbon ,made up some plates to cover the original holes where the wing mirrors would be...thought id be different and follow the curved area in the middle..
i bought a turbosmart fuel regulator recently, fitted -6 fittings mounted it straight off the bulkhead fitting
just need some more -6 hose as what i fitted before isnt long enough..

Re: project:UFO
todays efforts ...
'crazycage spec' hydro clutch conversion.. (cheers gary )
and my metal induction hose has been exstended,i did have a joiner on it but now it goes straight to the intercooler..the main reason i had this done was so i can have some brackets welded on as on the last car it was on it did sometimes 'pop' off under high boost..not something i want with a carbon bonnet one end and fuel lines the other..
templates made so back off to the welders it goes

Re: project:UFO
boost pipe with brackets welded on and painted/fitted
to fit my pedal box as far forward as possible things have had to get a bit extreme ,so out cam the grinder
this section ive cut out has made me loads of room and i havent cut all the way through to fresh air so thats a bonus
a faulse floor is being made to this profile
this gives me more hight to the floor as im aiming for being as straight legged as possible..the seat are also going further back to achive this.
this is what it would look like
more progress on this once the floors made
also recieved new pins and clips for my AP calipers

Re: project:UFO
this weekends efforts saw the drivers seat going back on new brackets
the floor and pedals going in (excuse the wiring, next on the list )
and managed to get the boost gauge in
awaiting more parts at the mo as in some billet alloy bar to make some support towers for the floor ,some grip tape to on the floor and loads of bolts to secure everything..ive now got the driving position sorted
just to add the pics are taken in the garage and dont do the car justice..dont think my camera likes it or maybe i cant use it properly
