Anyone been to PSG in Measham, Derbyshire?

Considering getting a badboy bonnet done. Its only a mile from my house, but i need to know if they're any good.

Its the painting bit thats most important. One of my doors is already a slightly different shade to the rest of the car (barely noticable in most lights), so if they make a mess of the bonnet i'll be most displeased.

Anyone recommend somewhere in derbs/leics/staffs??

Hmmm, I wouldn't recommend them, unless they've turned a new leaf in the last few years. I got some bits off of them a while back and the quality was extremely poor, plus I'm certain they gave my car a good thrashing whilst it was in their hands for a week

Cheers James. I think i'll give them a miss then.

Got the amp and sub in by the way, soundin sweet! Experimenting with differet box sizes at the minute, think i prefer a fairly small box. Got it mounted 'arse out' in a 1.3 ft^3 box and its sounds wicked.

Hi Spooney, if I was you I would give them a wide berth as well. Never had anything done there personally or bought anything from them but I have only ever heard bad reports about them.

I also used to know a chap who worked for a seperate bodyshop that did some paintwork for PSG them after they had fitted the kits or done the repairs etc and he always said that the quality of their work that they sent to them to be painted was absolutley crap.

What did you do about your Cat 1 Toad dilemma in the end?

Cheers Simon, i wondered why i never read about them in the mags. Do you know anywhere good locally that do bodystyling, also might need a respray soon?

Didin't get a Cat1 in the end, turns out i've got a Cat2 as standard and my insurers didn't require a Cat1 so no discount (low crime area). Got a sterling alarm fitted, made by toad. £50 cheaper than swad ice, so worth a trip to brum!

Hi there Spooney, one place I would recommend is Auto Bodycraft in Newhall. They do a lot of modified and standard show cars including XR's and RS's and the work is excellent and reasonably priced and will do anything from a small scratch to a full respray. Not sure whether they would do a bad boy bonnet but there is no harm in asking. There phone number is 01283 550570 and you want to speak to John.

Let me know how you get on.
