putting lsd in ib5 yes or no ?

Fitting an ib5 box as mines gone do go through the effort of fitting an escorts lsd in or not?
Can't afford to get an expensive diff so it really worth fitting the escort one?

As far as i know all thats needed to fit them is to have 2mm taken off the diff and then it bolts straight in, someone else can hopefully confirm that
