my brother is insured with them and as a part of his policy he gets third party insurance cover on other peoples cars :) but they seem to be one of the cheapest insurers for young drivers

Quinn have always been efficient when I've used them. I cancelled my policy and they got the refund out to me within 3 days.. would of been instant but I wanted a cheque.

People on the end of the phone are friendly and helpful.. although sometimes a touch difficult to understand. Depends on the strength of their irish accent though.

I am insured with Quinn, you can drive other peoples cars even when TPFT yes, mad I know. Excludes 4x4s and vans though but nothing to stop me driving my dads TVR when he finally buys it, even at 18 haha.

Do you have to be down as a named driver for that car to drive it?

Quinn have given me some of the best quotes over the last 2 years, ended up going with Liverpool Victoria though. Im seriously considering changing to Quinn-Direct as soon as i get my next car.

How do Quinn manage to come up with such good premiums and then some other insurers will totally rip you off. It shows how much profit the insurance business makes!!!

eg. Me on an XR3i for a year(exact same car):

Quinn £565.31
Highway £1723.?? :o :o :o :o

Quinn manage to be so cheap due to there working practices. they are currently been looked into by the FSA and ABI due to the way that they deal with customers after accidents.

i would rather roll up a dead rat and smoke it, than be insured by them.

just my 2p's worth.

im with them and i had an accident in my first car. total write off and did some serious damage to the other persons car. they were very quick and efficient. they didnt even come after me for compulsory excess because i didnt claim the other person claimed on me! i only had tpft so i didnt get anything for my car. so i bought a cheap fiesta!
