Ok,...does anyone know where the wires connect to for a MK3 fiesta when fixing bonnet lights on. Apparently, you can wire them up to the indicator wiring or something...but where is that !!

Cheers all.

You wire them into the side light wires the brown side light wire goin in to the back of the sidelight holder is earth (wire black wire from washer to this wire) the grey and brown is live (wire red wire from washer to this wire). Use those little splicing clips as you wont have to cut the sidelight wires. It only takes the best part of five minutes. Dont listen to em they look trick as fcuk far better than the standard black rubber crap

Instead of just slating people, why don't you grow up ? I thought this site was dedicated to fiesta-minded people helping each other with styling questions/ideas. If people want your opinion I'm sure they'll ask for it.

Personally, I may think your motor may look utter sh$te too, but I reserve judgement until I ever saw it.

So JJ, put a sock in it mate, and find something constructive to do with ya time.

Loser.

If you read my first post, I said 'in my humble opinion' LED washer jets look sh*te. I also commented 'each to their own' I'm equally as entitled to express my own opinion on here, as are you, and as such I was exercising that right :bonkers: If this BB admin has a problem with my comments, I'm sure he'll let me know (eh, Ade?!)

Actually JJ, you said "they look w$nk" and whilst you are right in that you are entitled to your opinion,...I didn't ask for your opinion TWICE ! I can read you the first time. We get the message so just do us all a favour and eff off ya loser !

If you look directly behind your headlamp on the passangers side in front of the battery you will see a clear clip going into the back of the light, get a torch and look down below this clip and youll see a long round grey plastic thingy going into your headlight with two wires stickin out the back. This is the sidelight bulb holder. Turn it i think to the right and it you should be able to pull it out. Then youll see the wires mentioned in the post i done earlier. Follow the instructions in the post and thats it sorted. :Q

Depends on your definition of loser.....

I'm sure the old bill may well start to show an interest in all these cars with blue LED washer jets - I'm sure they're rather fussy about joe public driving around with blue lights on the front of your car......hmmmmm

A lot of things are opinion, especially with mods, and it's important to respect other people's opinions but LED washer jets???

Come on!!! Even the lad down the road with the neons on his beige mk1 Ghia wouldn't be seen dead with them!!

I can't stand those things! when they came out i was all for them and thought they looked quite smart. :aaah: but i came to my senses and thought better of it. It's so true what ade said tho about the even the bloke down the road with..... having em on!
There's this one guy that must think he's added 100bhp to his 1.2 corsa round my way throught the addition of the LEDs. Completely standard apart from them. Revs his car to fook everywhere he goes now! such a t!t!

If you do wire them on mate then don't put them on the side lights. As you will get pulled by the police all the time as its illegal to drive with a blue light shining from the front of your car. put them on a seperate switch,

Most people have gone for blue lights and as he didn't specify a colour then we are both correct.
Most cars with them on are shining blue which isn't allowed as stated above.

Thanks

Sorry not sure what PM means ! I aint up with all this abbreviational lingo.

Put it this way. My car is phat. And I mean phat. It aint fast, but it's fat.

I gotta custom built wide arch kit for a five door white fiesta mk3 made from fibreglass.

Yeah some of you may think LED lights are tacky or unsuitable. Whatever, the point is everyone is entitled to their opinion but not entitled to slate other people's opinion....there's a difference.

I just wish I had a picture of my car so I could show you all up !

I know some of you will say that 5door cars aint as good as 3doors, but with a custom made wide arch, you gotta give me some credit surely ? It's probably the only one in the world !

I agree we are all open to our own opinions. If you like them, keep them.

I had them when they came out and have disconnected them until i can find my black washer jets.

Sorry andy mate i was refering to TimEdwards post about cars with the LED jets being 'standard'. Your car looks the biz. Everyones entitled to their own opinion. Over here in Northern Ireland the washer jets have only come out and they seem to be the next big thing over here.
