Rear Discs for sierra calipers - Help please

Postby XR2racer on Thu Dec 10, 2009 12:55 pm

Hopefully this is an easy question to answer!

I've got the fiesta center rear disc conversion kit which uses granada/scorpio/sierra rear calipers.

The advice is to use standard fiesta front discs with these. The question is will my xr2i discs be the right size? or do i need smaller (1.1. or 1.3 discs) or are they the same?

(I'll have these spare from a new front disc set-up so i'd like to know if they'll be ok) obviously i can try them, but i want all the correct parts to hand before i dismantle everything.)

Thanks chaps.

The XR2i disc is vented and wider than a solid disc from a 1.1/1.3. I don't have Sierra calipers on mine, but you need to know what size disc the calipers will fit around.

Are you running bigger discs/calipers on the front?
