Hi Mate!

Right: -

Yes they do bolt straight to your rear beam.

First problem: -

Handbrake needs spacers making up where it attaches to the hub so that you can tension it up properly!

Also you will need to use the semi circle plate on the handbrake cable from the fiesta on the escort brake cable as the escort one is too big I found.

If you have room to use the escort one then use it as you wont need spacers for the handbrake cable then :)

Second problem: -

What front brakes do you have? Unless your have rs2000 fronts or bigger then you WILL need a brake bias valve as the rs2000 rears are better than standard fiesta fronts

Third Problem: -

What model fiesta is it? If its 1.6 or higher then you'll have a big enough master cylinder to run rs2000 fronts and rears without a brake bias valve.

If its 1.1, 1.3 or 1.4 then you will need to get a bigger master cylinder! Might as well get a MK6 escort item as it is much bigger than any fiesta one.

Fourth problem: -

When bleeding the system, use a pressure bleeding kit from halfords made by gunsons.

Bleed the rears with the calipers not bolted on and hold em so the bleed nipple is facing towards the sky... I found with mine that air can get trapped in the piston furthest away from the bleed nipple so this is the only way to get rid of that air.

If you need an rs2000 front setup then pm me :)

excellent, just the kind of info i needed thanks

i've got 4x4 cosworth fronts.
and it's on a 2.0 converted 1.6 Si

so i use the escort rs2000 handbrake cable? and if i use the semi circle from the fiesta i need to space it off, if i use the escort one i dont need to??
