Well fast ford done a conversion on a mk3 fiesta and they used a RS2000 rear beam...Looked the knackers though
Be careful with the brake biasing...when u squeeze the brake pedal it might act like a hand brake!! Not good me thinks
Dont know much else about it...sorry

You can use sapphire cossie 2wd rear ones and discs, but you need a bracket which you can get from 'Hi Spec' i think its called (in the back of fast ford and performance ford) ony cost £50 and you need to get an RS 2000 handbrake cable...... have a look at http://www.XRTurbo.co.uk got some details on there

my m8 put rear discs on his phiesta turbo. He made hisown kit, what he did was got the rear drums ground down to allow a set of discs to be fitted. He then got a set of Uno (yeah thats right!) front brake callipars and made up a fitting kit. He still has the plans at home if anyone is interested.
He did this some 4 years ago and although he sold the car it is still goign about. It has had no real problems other than needing the discs and pads replace due to normal wear and tear. The advantage of this system was it allowed the standard brake shoes to be kept in place for acting the handbrake.
Looked great, it was better than my car at stopping, the rear of the car sat down under braking. Was ok in the wet as well.
wouldn't do it to my phiesta as i don't think it is needed but was cheap and effective.
