Why am i not shocked. Pay cheap money and you get cheap parts. My Spax has been on my car for 50k+ and was still good when i stripped the car for restoration.

Lol I bought them knowing Gmax were poor but mk3.5 suspension kits are hard to find. Needless to say, those rears have been replaced with Konis

Nice
Has the problem you had with the clicking gone now, since the rear shocks were changed?

Clicking turned out to be the driver's archliner. Not entirely sure what or how it was making the noise yet but I've removed it for the time being until I get another one and a new set of screws/plasticy nut things. It had come loose at the front and the tyre's worn a hole through it
Pi springs are nice though

Nah, still have G-craps on the front due to mk3.5 nonsense.

Re: Reasons To Avoid Gmax #573
They're not as easy as mk3 kits. I've only seen 1 or 2 mk3.5 kits (excl. coilovers) for sale since i bought mine 2 years ago. They were Gmax too iirc!

I might have to contact them then. How much did they cost you if you don't mind me asking?

Ah right. Well I checked with Koni themselves and according to them they don't do mk3.5 shocks

Ollie @ NMS said he had a nightmare over getting some as not many people list them for 3.5's,I get the feeling he said they may have be mk4 ones
Best thing to do is phone him and ask,Just mention Wildhearts fiesta

Re: Reasons To Avoid Gmax #573
Yea i got a full spax kit on my car which is a 3.5. Never gone wrong in the how ever many years its been on my car
I would never trust g-crap for some reason, just hear so much rubbish about them
mk3.5 kits are less common than the mk3, purely because the 3.5 fiesta's was only in production for a couple years compared to the standard mk3 which was from 89-94(iirc 95 was the changeover year to 3.5), so companies only had a shorter time to create new kits to suit the changes. But its not like you cant find any if you look hard enough

Re: Reasons To Avoid Gmax #573
I've refitted the standard OEM shocks on the front (the ones that were on the car when I bought it). I have to say they handle so much better than the Gmax! Admittedly the springs don't sit that tight in the cups but the ride is softer (more travel when doing the bounce test) but doesn't scrub whatsoever. I also have far less understeer, I can really keep the power down through bends and round roundabouts etc.
Just thought it was worth mentioning for anyone's reference
