Tried getting 2 screw drivers in there and yanking it out but no luck, is there an easier way to get it out to fit a new cd player?

as said, use the proper pins! if you are too tight to buy them (like I am, they're £10 in halfords!) then pop to your local garage and they should have some you can use (if you ask nicely of course!).
Don't forget you'll need a wiring adaptor, these are about £12-£15 from halfords...

I went and got em from halfords (4.95, the cheek!) and go tit off fine, but now I need to get some converters to go to the new cd player which are a tenner
Also, when its fit in I obviously have a space above the player (as its not as big as the original tape/radio player) what do you advise I put in its place? Just cut out some plastic or something?
