ok quick question might have been answered before by somebody but i did a search and couldnt find it.

how do you remove the standard double din ford radio?

i had the one in my escort done as part of the free fitting from halfords but ive no idea how to take one of these out?

had mine done about a week ago they used a pair of prongs which fit in the four holes and then slide it out not sure where you'll get them from but halffords is only about £40 for installation

use a coat hanger if you dont have the "prongs"

Hi...

I did mine the other day (replaced standard stereo) - I have a set of allen keys, I just used the long part (handles) of the allen keys to release the stereo, then another allen key hooked in the tape compartment to drag the stereo out,lol...easy...- you dont need the actual stereo keys.
