restoration time for the frst (updated 19/11)
hi all, just thort id let you all see whats goin on with the frst.
i started the resto on teusday as the petty cap area has been buggin me for awhile so i thort now is the time.
but as usual the jobs just keep apearin
theres afew more patch's to weld then its ready for the underseal
will keep you updated on what ever else apears.

alrite mate, the shocks are sweet
the body work on the fez has been anoyin me for awhile but as its me daily driver not had chance to sort it,
an as theres only afew months before usc at pod its had to come off the road for afew weeks
i'd forgot how crap walking is!!!

im the same boat with my black turbo, its off the rd 2 and its in 4 a big overhall!! im not 2 bad tho as iv got a mk6 rs2000 that im away 2 run till my turbo is back on the rd!

just a quick update
the fez is all undersealed an back on the floor,
petty cap is nearly done just abit more fetling to do theen its time for a quick spray
so should be back on the road very very soon
then its time for new intercooler an takin to msd for setin up hopfully in time for usc at pod
will upload some more pics soon as pos

all done an spayed by me (never done it before) with a spit can an blended in, am just lettin the laquer harden before i buff it up
also sprayed were ther was a scratch on the boot lid and drivers rear,
also sorted the bit below the back light after reversin into a lamp post that apeard from no were
so thats all the body work done(apart from a new bumper an light when i get hold of them) till after pod when the sills are comin off

just a quick update on what iv been doin
so far thers been a T3 conversion
abit more crome an a strut brace under the bonnet
show cage
clear rear lights, not to everones taste i know
an morretes
also got my coilovers to on when i get chance
an my 701's when i get a ofac 195 chip an fuel pump to match

to be honest i thort the same thing about the strut brace, thats ebay for ya, still fits in tho
av not actualy fitted it propa yet just sanded it down an sprayed it
the bay is gona have abit more done to it, at the mo am lookin at the crome plates that go under the bonnet then the crome inlet after that
also gona fabricate some other covers for things at me old work an get em cromed
will be good for some shows next summer

h yes, remember my ebay bargain of 99p for chrome strut tops
i also have the bonnet stand, oil cap and a spark plug lead cover somewhere but not fitted, for a zetec these though
