very interesting a good idea but at this stage id rather go for a more straight forward solution and mend the current cts stg2 box. clutch has only done 200 odd miles too.
perhaps at a later date ill go for the frs box
ps. 4 gearboxes in 13 years isnt that bad is it? and ive only properly blown a hole in 1 of them

ive done 50k in 13 years
i bought this current box used with 10k miles on it, ive done about 10k on it also.
my old harvey gibs lsd box i also bought used and lasted me about 5 years.
i think ive been a bit unlucky with this one
box was taken out today and going to get a quote on fixing the problem and go from there

see that big selector arm (for 1st and second) some boxes had smaller ones, i.e the same size as the one on the left for 3rd and 4th, if gave needs a smaller one, i might have one

good job it was a basic job of replacing the fork and gasgets and seals and not a full rebuild
indeed, thanks to dave and kev for all their help
dave we finished about midday and waisted about 4 hours replacing the fuel hose!
car drives perfectly so fitp is on, so happy
