Retrooooo Metrooooo! on the roadddddd :)
right sooooo!
my fiesta gathering dust until i can afford to update my thread with the new parts ive boughttt
here's my run around, you'll all like it haha (its not even close to being a ford)
can i get some lowwwwwwwwwwws
took them on a blackberry as my camera has decided to reject every single memory card i have
cant see it but i can only just fit an iphone under the bumper, the sumps about 3" off the floor
you wont, soon...
removed the interior (far left) rust isnt bad at all!
its true...
obvious really
rear arches are a little bad though, this is the bad side
fresssssshhhhh
and just a last photo
plans are,
capri 4 spokes.
colour coded bumpers/mirrors
and just a general tidy up.
in the future i think i can see an k series 16v dropped in there, possibly a vvc or something
will be updating my fiesta thread with some special stuff so watch the spaceeeee

Re: Retrooooo Metrooooo!
jake i think the offset is slightly different, but they should go on with no problem, they're 6j so should sit nicely in the arches too.

Re: Retrooooo Metrooooo!
Lotus elise engine is a 1.8 k series, only 118bhp i think with vvc, same as the MGF/TF, Rover 25/45 etc
I work at a dealer that used to sell Rovers, good cars Metros, quite basic though. With an engine change (k series, VTEC) etc would be quite potent. Only problem i can see is the availability of parts

I thought it was the 160bhp vvc engine that was in the TF's.
I might be wrong though

Re: Retrooooo Metrooooo! on the roadddddd :)
i fitted the new alternator and bumped it good.
starts first time now, its too low though, went over a bump in the road and it scrapped so fudgekin bad i almost s**t myself.
the exhaust has scrapes all over the downpipe, sump and gearbox got a beating too...
anyone know if the gas is easy to get hold of?

Its a Green mineral oil (abit like LHM) that is used to pump up the suspension, have done these before, not many places have the tool to do it any more, but somewhere in our garage we still have one
