rinsed battery power

Postby taylor5788 on Sun May 14, 2006 3:20 pm

ive got 2 amps, a vieta 300x2ch amp and an alpine MRDM500 monoblock wired up 2 my battery, with the alpine powerin my 2 12" subs and the veitta powerin my 280watt 6x9's. theyre wired to a distribution block using 8 gauge power cable n then from the dist block to my battery using 4 gauge power cable. yesterday when i fitted them it was running fine. Today they were running fine until after about half an hour the head unit kept cutting out and turning back on. when i eventully decided to drive off i started the engine except...it woodnt start due to a flat battery :bonkers: How could my battery have of got flat as a pancake the day after fitting my subs? what have i wired rong etc?

yeah one click on key. Subs and amps will seriously drain the battery if you don't have the engine running :P
