Rolling Road Benefits?

Postby MIK3Y on Fri May 30, 2003 12:29 pm

OK, say u run a Bayjoo 165 chip with Pace intercooler/Xorst/IK what benefits would a rolling road set-up give u? What can the operator adjust to maximise effeciency?
With this set-up what is the liklyhood of running lean or rich with-out being set-up? Cheers, Mikey.

A rolling road session is the way to see if your fuelling is able to cope with the xtra boost your running and adjust if needed.
Just plugging in a chip and turning up the boost is a sure way of bye-bye pistons. On the rolling road you can see how well other parts of your engine work and behave...............i.e Intercooler with an ACT gauge.

How do they make adjustments if the chip is un-programmable like the Bayjoo 1?
So it is granted that these mods will = faulty running?
How's this problem solved with the above mentioned mods? Cheers, Mikey.
