Rough price for custom backboxes?

Postby heeman10 on Tue Feb 04, 2003 4:48 pm

I have a *ahem* diesel Mk3 (please don't laugh :( ) and wondered how much a 3 inch stainless backbox might be? Dunno which is cheapest, but I'd prefer rolled out. Any ideas? :-?

Can't make a diesel very loud though - Bruster had an Escy S2 ERST Mongoose or Scorpion thingy on his and it wasn't loud at all.

I didn't expect it to be loud. Perhaps a sort of interesting (???!?!) sound, but it's mainly for cosmetic purposes, as it looks empty at the back (if you've seen any pics of it). I WOULD just get a gay Halfords "exhaust trim" thing, cos that's all I want, a nice tailpipe, but I just can't stand that stuff!!!
