RS 1800 Rev Limit

As title describes....what is the max rev limit for a few RS1800?

just wondered.. :)

7,000 standard.

It probably bounces at 7,100. But you can take out the rev limeter needle so it won’t ever hit the limit. As much as zetec's loved to be revved high I wouldn’t bother taking out the needle. :lol:

Smooth SI :7,000 standard.

It probably bounces at 7,100. But you can take out the rev limeter needle so it won’t ever hit the limit. I think the needles under the distributor cap! As much as zetec's loved to be revved high I wouldn’t bother taking out the needle. :lol:
well done for proving, you don’t understand how engine management works!

At least your right about saying there is no point revving it higher, neither maximum torque or power are produced near the rev limit without some substantial modifications so no point altering it.

Im shore if he wanted to know about engine managment you'd be his number 1 boy :P

and yes i know d.ick about engine management :D
