The three nut covers you mean? I managed to get the rust run down the window stain off with a clay bar

Yes mate, I cannot seem to remove them. Even the screw from the inside won't budge. Any further ideas? Someone suggested drilling them out?!

I've only just picked up my RS, thats been stood for 3 years. 2 pairs of grips might work ?

Remove rear windows and soak the sandwich nuts in wd40 a few times.
Cover a pair of pliers with electrical tape around the jaws.
Place window between your legs kneeling down, and peel the inside rubber caps off.
Hold this side of the nut with a fat headed phillips screwdriver.
Grip the outer dome with the pliers tight.
With max pressure to the phillips, turn ( anti clockwise) against the tightly held outer dome.
They should begin to spin apart.

Ideally soak in wd40 or deblocking oil for a period of time before attempting to disassemble, it doesn't penetrate immediately (unfortunately!).
Nothing to see here...
