been there (-; done that..
Engine itself is a direct fit (same CVH engine on the outside)
you need to change the radiator though, take a bit out of the bumper (for the radiator fan)
loom.. no fit..
my 2i was a (dutch) 89 build one .. the FRST engine was a (UK) 91 build one. the engine loom didn't fit on the inside-car loom . all colours were different.. and 1 pin more..
But then again .. i have a 0FAC ECU .. and even the loom of a 0FAB ecu was different..
what did I do .. swap over the complete loom (the car was stripped for painting anyway)
Check if the colours of the inside-car-loom are the same as the engine loom.. then it wouldn't be a problem

mine is a g reg 2i converted to turbo, the engine is a straight swap i also got the ecu for that engine as well which was ofac and found a decent ofac loom (iceman). the FRST engine bay loom matched the in car loom, all colours matched ect..
you will also need all FRST water and turbo pipe work to be able to match it all up, the FRST rad and intercooler..
