RS Turbo steering wheel?

Postby JoeyBoyden on Wed Apr 09, 2014 10:31 pm

Hi guys, first post on here so forgive me if I'm in the wrong section or something. I was recommended to come over here to see if I could get an answer about this. Next thing I want to get for my MK5 is an RS Turbo/Xr2/3 steering wheel. Got everything else for the interior just need the wheel now! Just wondered if anyone knew if it bolts straight in or I have to get a boss kit or not? Not that fussed about removing airbag as I have a year MOT now so that will give me the time to sort out the inevitable airbag warning light. Looking at pictures of the MK5 one and Rs one, the center looks the same but I can't find any specs/dimensions for them so I'm a bit stuck. I found an image of somebody who's done exactly what I'm looking for here http://i521.photobucket.com/albums/w332 ... to1916.jpg but obviously I'm unsure how to go about it. Thanks for any help, apologies once again if I'm in the wrong section.
