rs turbo
how hard would it be to convert my mk3.5 to a rs turbo and what would be needed aprt from engine its self

You will need :
RS turbo Engine with ECU
Intercooler with turbo unit
Oil sump + oil pump
Engine wiring loom
Gearbox with clutch, flywheel
exhaust manifold with complete exhaust system.
Probally need more bits but thats basically it.

As above, but then you also need several years NCB and not be a young driver. Insurance companies seem to charge through the nose for conversions. (Unless your a spawny git like Rawli, who I think has his insured on a company policy)
An RST is group 15, so for a conversion they will whack another group or two on top.
Also, you need to upgrade the suspension and the brakes, or you will kill yourself.

Most insurance companies won't touch you till your 25 or you have 4 years no claims and if you want to do rs conversion it would work out a lot cheaper to buy a frst for £1000 or less and use it for parts and sell what you don't need that way you can use the seats rear window's anti-roll bar it all cost money
