RS1800 cams on 2.0 silvertop?

Postby mattymaxx on Mon Jun 22, 2009 9:58 pm

Would this give me any gains?

I have an RS1800 with 43K on the clock, but the cambelt snapped on the last owner, hence me having it :), and I now have a 2.0 silvertop to drop in.

Just wondered if its worth dropping the RS cams in the 2.0 engine.

Any advice would be great :) Thanks in advance.

from what ive read up on before my 2.0 conversion the RS1800 throttle body and cams are the same as 2.0 mondeo.

so no performance would be gained..
